The Mental Health and Recovery Services Board (MHRSB) of Seneca, Ottawa, Sandusky and Wyandot Counties is a volunteer Board made up of clients, family members, and other community leaders representing the counties it serves. The Board is the community mental health and addiction planning agency. Services include prevention, treatment and recovery support services.

The Board’s main role is to serve as the community addiction and mental health planning agency for the counties under its jurisdiction. In doing so, the Board shall evaluate local behavioral health services, investigate any complaint alleging abuse or neglect of any person receiving behavioral health services, conduct program audits to review and evaluate the quality, effectiveness and efficiency of behavioral health services, recruit and promote local financial support for behavioral health services, and promote, arrange, and implement working agreements with social agencies, both public and private, and with judicial agencies.

A representative from the MHRSB is a member of the FCFC council.
