Seneca East Local School District is located in Attica, a village in Seneca County, Ohio. Our current student population is approximately 887 students and our student to teacher ratio is 1 to 15.75, well below the state average of 1 to 18. This allows our district to give each student the individualized attention needed to address the needs of the whole child.

Over the years, Seneca East has taken pride in delivering a solid, first-class education. By laying a solid foundation, Seneca East continues to build on the student experiences in the face of challenges as they arise. The district has state of the art facilities and technology, and the curriculum provided in the schools grows more rigorous with each passing year. Seneca East strives to be an academic leader that produces well-rounded, educated students – the leaders of tomorrow.

Seneca East Local Schools is housed on one campus, in one school building, completed in 2008. This building was designed to meet the needs of all Seneca East students.

Students in Seneca East Local Schools are afforded many opportunities. We encourage students to perform at the height of his or her ability through developing critical thinking skills, social accountability, creativity, the ability to communicate effectively and a solid work ethic.

AP courses are offered to Seneca East High School students and nearly one quarter of the student population takes at least one AP course. Our district is consistently listed as one of the best ranked schools in the nation by U.S. News and World Report.

Seneca East is rooted in tradition. Many students come from multiple generations of Seneca East alumni and we strive to be the first-choice school for every family.
